You are cordially invited to attend the Coronation Ceremony of Miss Ebony World 2019.
Please join us for this extraordinary celebration of cultural diversity as we honor and recognize the talented and ambitious women of the African Diaspora working to advance the status of African women globally.
The Coronation Ceremony presents a rare opportunity to experience the vibrant cultures of Africa, learn about the biggest humanitarian issues plaguing the continent, and enjoy African music, dance, art and more on the Western Hemisphere.
The Miss Ebony World Pageant celebrates beauty and creativity within Ebony communities and strengthens bonds cross-culturally.
During last year’s pageant, Queen Hope, from South Sudan raised awareness about the very real threat of child marriage in her home country. Other participants highlighted important issues related to rape, child abuse, children with disabilities, access to clean water, domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, education for women & children, and more. These social justice issues occur domestically and internationally.
Each year, The Miss Ebony World Pageant brings women together to celebrate the power of women of the African Diaspora and fosters sisterhood and service.
